Western Re is an underwriting agency for U.S. earthquake markets, and the firm's second generation management team was looking for a fresh look to let their clients know the team would be bringing fresh, forward-thinking ideas to their way of doing business, without changing their reputation for reliability experience. The logo was a full departure from their 1st-generation look, sets them up as dependable and stable, looks to the horizon, and, on a conceptual level, implies that Western Re is the unifying force — offering clients a stabilizing platform from the potential dangers below. Created the stationery package, and promotional brochure. For the brochure, developed the theme, wrote all text, art-directed photographers in different locations, and prepared art for printing.
