Re-release label art and design of the "Smirk" album from The Webstirs, a popular local Chicago band. The "Smirk" album is a catchy, fun, power-pop album from early in The Webstirs career, and the naming of the album was the band's tribute to the "Smile" album by The Beach Boys. Building on their tribute are my illustrations for the label. Illustrations of the band members (peeking through the windows) are interpretations of the original promotional photos taken for the original release. Strewn throughout the illustration are objects and items representing an aspect of every song on the album. Details from the label art were used to create Album Release Party posters and commemorative t-shirt.
