Goodall Hospital earned Joint Replacement certification from The Joint Commission, and were one of the first in the region to earn such designation. Their goal was to create a more professional guide to hand to their patients to match their program's new status. Working from a group of disparate handouts, notes, and charts, created an organized booklet of information to give patients a better understanding of the program to lend added confidence to the program and to organize information, making it useful for doctors, patients, and support staff. Edited text, wrote non-technical paragraphs and transition material, suggested additional support material, and created a linear flow of information for the Hip/Knee progression. Redrew all illustrations and photos to fit the same style, to eliminate poor quality or image distortions and to clarify the highlighted action. Recreated, defined and reorganized all charts and information for clarity.
